Project 1: Corporate Website Analysis

Using the Case Study methodology examine a business website of your choice. In some depth and detail determine if the site is successful or not and make recommendations for its improvement. Your examination can include any aspect of Internet Marketing.
The site must be a distinct Canadian organization: it cannot be the subsidary site of a foreign organization. Please review your choice with the Instructor. Too large or too small a site will impact your ability to provide a response within the scope expected of this project.
While the overall mode of expression is expected to follow the Case Study methodology you can include screen captures, video or podcasts within the report if you wish.
Your observations and recommendations for improvement should focus on the site's marketing objectives and how to achieve them. Although the term website is used in the project title you should take that to include other aspects of Internet marketing that can occur including: social media, newsletters, email blasts, viral video, and any other efforts you may observe or suggest.
This is a substantial project so please submit it in the following format:
- Executive summary and recommendations in the body of the post
- The complete report as a Word attachment
- Multimedia attached as Flash or mp3
You must discuss your topic with the Instructor no later than March 9.
Your submission must include a list of references (selected bibliography).
